The Zimbabwe Council of Copyrights (ZICCO) is a leading Intellectual Property Rights Inspectorate, Protectorate, and Licensing Organization. Established in 2023, ZICCO is mandated by the Copyright Act to manage and enforce copyright and related rights of both Zimbabwean and international artists. Our goal is to protect the rights of creators and promote growth in the Intellectual Property industry. ZICCO collects royalties from various users of copyrighted works, such as radio stations, TV channels, and public venues. These royalties are then distributed to our members based on the usage of their works. We ensure that artists receive fair compensation for the exploitation of their creations.
